The Petrol Head Rally has been described as "the best week of my life", "what an enjoyble adventure, one of the best things I've ever done, it was such a great laugh" and "first class organisation from the event organisers, good choice of hotels too!" and that basically sums up what we are trying to acheive from the rally.
We want every single person to have a fantastic time, experiencing something they probably never thought about doing until they came across this website. Also, unlike other banger rallies, we organise and book all the hotel accommodation, which saves you money.
The concept of the rally is to buy a car for £250 or less or take one that is over 20 years old, turn it into an eye-catching masterpiece and drive it through some of the greatest roads in Europe. It's not just a driving holiday though, it's a great chance to meet lot's of new people, and drink lots of european beer (and wine ladies!)!

There's 2 Rally options:
Option 1: Roll on Rimini - 4 September 2010 - 5 Countries in 5 Days
Option 2: Push on to Prague - 4 September 2010 - 7 Countries in 7 Days

Entrance Fees:
£179 per team (for 2 members)
£35 per additional team member
Deposit:
The deposit for the event is £99 per team. Places are strictly limited, therefore the deposit must be paid within 7 days of registration.
The Prizes:
If you relish in our Petrol Head Rally Challenges, and succeed, you could walk away from the rally with some cold hard cash. Here's a breakdown of the prizes.
First place = £700
Daily Challenge Prizes = £100 per day
Best decorated car = £100
Accommodation:
If you want to book your own accomodation, that's fine! Just let us know on the registration form. However, if you want the full Motoscape experience, we recommend that you leave the accommodation to us (see below).
LET US BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION
When you’ve got your car to buy, carry out any repairs needed and then come up with some fantabulous design for it, the last thing you want to worry about is booking a different hotel for every night of the trip. Unlike some other rallies, we can book all your accommodation for you. We negotiate excellent rates in 3* plus accommodation. This means that your trip runs smoothly and you end up socialising with the other teams a lot more. See below for approximate accommodation pricing.
Both routes – approx £35 - £40 per person per night. The price shown is per person on a bed and breakfast basis.
There are a limited number of hotel packages and these are available on a first come first served basis.
Who can take part in the rally:
Male or female aged 18 to 80 (must have a current driving license)
Do it for Charity:
If you're the charitable type, you can take part in the rally for the charity of your choice, build up sponsorship and, if you're feeling incredibly generous, donate your prize money (if you finish in top 3 of course) to your charity too!
